+ROOT SOLID

Concentrated Solid Rooting Biostimulant for Faster Establishment and Stronger Crop Development

A vigorous and well-developed root system is essential for efficient nutrient uptake, balanced vegetative development and improved crop performance. +ROOT SOLID supplies key nutritional and physiological components that support root initiation, elongation and branching. Its high phosphorus content promotes energy-dependent processes involved in early development, while free amino acids provide readily available organic compounds that help sustain plant metabolism during establishment and recovery.

The formulation is suitable for both foliar and soil applications, although its main positioning is in root-zone treatments, substrates, nurseries, transplanting programmes and fertigation. By promoting root activity, +ROOT SOLID helps increase the plant’s capacity to explore the growing medium and absorb water and nutrients. It is especially recommended after transplanting, during crop establishment, when root development must be reactivated, and after environmental or agronomic stress.

Technical profile

  • High phosphorus concentration: Contains 35% phosphorus pentoxide, supporting energy transfer and early root development.
  • Readily available nitrogen: Provides 7% total nitrogen to support initial vegetative activity.
  • High free amino acid content: Contains 20% free amino acids, which can be rapidly incorporated into plant metabolism.
  • Specific rooting compounds: Formulated with indole-3-butyric acid and naphthaleneacetic acid to support root initiation and development.
  • Concentrated solid formulation: Reduces transport and storage requirements compared with less concentrated solutions.
  • Multiple application methods: Suitable for substrates, nursery trays, transplant drenches, foliar applications and drip irrigation.
  • Flexible crop positioning: Can be used during propagation, transplanting, establishment, root flushes and recovery periods.
  • Targeted root-zone use: The dissolved product can be directed to the base of the plant for concentrated action around developing roots.

+ROOT SOLID provides several complementary effects through a single application:

  • Stimulates the formation of new roots and absorbent root hairs.
  • Promotes root branching, elongation and density.
  • Supports faster establishment after sowing or transplanting.
  • Improves root-zone activity and nutrient uptake capacity.
  • Helps crops recover after adverse environmental conditions.
  • Supports the development of stronger and more vigorous plants.
  • Contributes to more balanced vegetative and reproductive growth.
  • Helps improve the productive potential of the crop.
  • Can be applied through substrates, root drenches, foliar sprays and drip irrigation.
  • Is suitable for a wide range of horticultural, fruit, ornamental and field crops.

FAQ

What is +ROOT SOLID used for?

+ROOT SOLID is used to stimulate root initiation, branching, elongation and absorbent root-hair formation. It is particularly useful during propagation, transplanting, early establishment and recovery after stress.

Can it be applied to all crops?

The product is recommended for a wide range of crops, including vegetables, fruit trees, berries, field crops, ornamentals and nursery plants. Always verify that the intended use is permitted under local regulations.

Is +ROOT SOLID applied through the soil or as a foliar spray?

It can be applied through both methods. Soil, root-drench and fertigation applications are especially suitable when the main objective is direct root stimulation. Foliar applications can complement post-transplant programmes.

When should it be applied after transplanting?

The first application can be made at transplanting or when root activity begins, generally one to five days later. Additional treatments may be applied during the following weeks.

How often can applications be repeated?

Newly transplanted crops may receive one or two repeat applications at weekly intervals. Annual crops can be treated every 10–15 days during establishment, while perennial crops may receive two or three applications during an active root-development period.

Can it be used in nursery trays?

Yes. Apply 100 g per 200 L of water once per week, beginning from the third week of seedling development. It may also be incorporated into growing media at 125–250 g per 100 kg of substrate.

Can it be applied through drip irrigation?

Yes. The recommended datasheet rate is 2 kg/ha per application, diluted in irrigation water. During post-transplant establishment, applications are recommended in the second, third and fourth weeks.

Can it be mixed with calcium products?

Mixing with non-chelated calcium-based products should be avoided unless a compatibility test has confirmed that the combination is physically and chemically stable.

Does the product replace the standard fertilization programme?

No. +ROOT SOLID should be integrated into a balanced crop nutrition and irrigation programme. Although it supplies nitrogen, phosphorus and amino acids, its main role is to stimulate root development and improve early crop establishment.

Why is phosphorus important in a rooting product?

Phosphorus is involved in energy transfer and several metabolic processes that are especially important during early plant growth. An adequate phosphorus supply supports the energy requirements associated with root initiation and development.
