Key benefits and agronomic effects

  • Corrects zinc and manganese deficiencies in citrus.
  • Supports higher yield by increasing the number of fruits per tree.
  • Helps increase the size of leaves, shoots and fruits.
  • Supports higher vitamin C content.
  • Improves fruit quality by increasing total soluble solids (TSS).
  • Provides rapid uptake through a fully water-soluble Flow formulation.

How it works / Technical advantages

CITRICUS MnZn combines zinc and manganese in a single concentrated Flow formulation. Applying both micronutrients together provides a practical approach to correcting combined Zn and Mn deficiencies in citrus, where isolated deficiencies can restrict vegetative development and fruit production.

The formulation is chloride-free and fully water soluble, with a density of 1.65 and a pH of 6 in a 10% solution. Its Flow format is designed for rapid uptake and straightforward spray preparation.

Application rates and timing

Application Guidance: Apply 2-4 times during the crop cycle according to crop needs and development. For citrus, treat after the onset of new spring and summer shoots when the shoots reach about two-thirds of their development. Use 300-500 cc/hL with 500-1500 L of water per hectare.

Additional technical information

Target problem / deficiency symptoms

CITRICUS MnZn is designed to correct zinc and manganese deficiencies in citrus. Low zinc levels can reduce the number of fruits per tree and may also reduce fruit size. Typical zinc deficiency appears as chlorotic leaf spots or white interveinal areas while the veins remain green.

Manganese deficiency is commonly visible on young leaves as mottled yellowing. Correcting both micronutrients together helps restore balanced vegetative and reproductive development.

Mixing & compatibility

Fill the spray tank with half of the required water. Add the measured amount of CITRICUS MnZn while maintaining constant agitation, then add the remaining water and spray.

Precautions & storage

Store under frost-free conditions, ideally between 5 and 40 °C. Slight settling of nutrient particles may occur during prolonged storage and is reversible by shaking. Always shake the container before opening.

Frequently asked questions

What is CITRICUS MnZn?

CITRICUS MnZn is a concentrated manganese and zinc corrector developed especially for citrus, with 13.5% w/v Zn, 13.5% w/v Mn and 6.0% w/v total nitrogen.

What deficiencies does CITRICUS MnZn correct?

It is intended to correct zinc and manganese deficiencies in citrus. Zinc deficiency can appear as chlorotic or pale interveinal leaf areas, while manganese deficiency commonly causes mottled yellowing on young leaves.

When should CITRICUS MnZn be applied?

Apply after the onset of new spring and summer shoots, when the shoots have reached about two-thirds of their development.

What is the foliar dose?

The recommended foliar rate is 300-500 cc/hL, with a water volume of 500-1500 L/ha.

How many applications are recommended?

Make 2-4 applications during the crop cycle, adapting the programme to crop needs and development.

What benefits does CITRICUS MnZn provide?

It supports fruit number, fruit size, leaf and shoot development, vitamin C content, total soluble solids and overall citrus yield and quality.

How should CITRICUS MnZn be added to the spray tank?

Half-fill the tank with water, add the required product under constant agitation, then add the remaining water before spraying.

How should the product be stored?

Keep it frost-free between 5 and 40 °C. If slight settling occurs during prolonged storage, shake the container to restore the suspension.
