FIX

Flowering and Fruit Setting Inducer for Higher Yield, Better Fruit Uniformity and Reduced Fruit Drop

FIX is an innovative plant-origin bioregulator developed by Tangel Agro to improve flowering, fruit setting and fruit retention in a wide range of crops. It provides key nutrients and organic components that activate metabolic processes associated with energy supply, flower fertility, pollen quality and fruit attachment.

Its formulation is especially valuable during the generative phase, when the crop requires a balanced supply of energy, nutrients and natural bioactive compounds to maintain flowering intensity, favor fruit set and reduce physiological fruit drop. Thanks to its high solubility and foliar uptake, FIX acts quickly in critical phenological stages, helping crops increase fruit size, improve uniformity and enhance commercial yield.

Origin and Certifications

FIX provides a combined nutritional and bioregulatory effect during flowering and fruit development. It helps crops overcome critical reproductive stages and supports the transition from flower to marketable fruit.

Its main multi-benefit action is based on five complementary effects: stimulation of fruit setting, improvement of pollen quality, reduction of premature fruit drop, increase in fruit size and uniformity, and improvement of commercial production.

  • Stimulates fruit setting in demanding phenological stages.
  • Improves pollen quality and reproductive performance.
  • Helps reduce premature fruit drop.
  • Increases fruit size and uniformity.
  • Supports higher commercial yield.
  • Provides phosphorus and potassium for energy transfer and fruit growth.
  • Supplies boron and molybdenum, key micronutrients for flowering and fruit set.
  • Contains Ascophyllum nodosum extract to support plant metabolism.
  • Maintains active components in soluble form for rapid foliar uptake.

FIX is formulated to keep all active components soluble, allowing immediate uptake by the plant after foliar application. This makes it especially useful when rapid nutritional and physiological support is required during flowering, fruit setting or early fruit enlargement.

Its technical value lies in the synergy between macronutrients, micronutrients and organic plant-origin compounds. Phosphorus supports energy metabolism and reproductive activity; potassium contributes to fruit growth and quality; boron is essential for flowering, pollen tube development and fruit set; molybdenum supports nitrogen metabolism; and seaweed extract provides natural bioactive compounds that help stimulate physiological processes.

Features and Properties

FIX is a foliar bioregulator formulated to support the crop during flowering, fruit setting and early fruit development. Its composition combines mineral nutrients, micronutrients and plant-origin bioactive components to improve the physiological processes involved in flower fertility, pollen quality, fruit attachment and fruit growth.

Thanks to its balanced formulation, FIX helps activate crop metabolism during the generative phase, when plants require a high energy supply and precise nutritional support to transform flowers into well-developed fruits. Its active components remain soluble, allowing fast foliar uptake and efficient use by the plant.

Recommended Crops and Timing of Application

FIX is recommended for fruit trees, stone fruit, apple, pear, kiwi, citrus such as clementine and tangerine, table grape, grapevine, olive trees, vegetables, strawberries and small fruits.

The best timing is during flowering, fruit set and early fruit development. In crops with high fruit drop risk, FIX should be positioned from fruit set onwards to support fruit attachment. In grapes, it can also be used during rachis elongation, before flowering and after flowering to support reproductive development and cluster formation.

For fruit enlargement programs, applications should begin when fruits reach the specific size indicated for each crop, such as 20 mm in apple and pear, 15–20 mm in clementine and tangerine, or 8–10 mm berry size in table grape.

FAQ

What is FIX used for?

FIX is used to stimulate flowering, improve fruit setting, increase pollen quality, reduce premature fruit drop and support fruit size and uniformity.

Is FIX a fertilizer or a bioregulator?

FIX is a foliar bioregulator with nutritional action. It contains phosphorus, potassium, boron, molybdenum, seaweed extract and mannitol to support the crop during flowering and fruit set.

What crops can FIX be used on?

FIX can be used on fruit trees, stone fruit, apple, pear, kiwi, clementine, tangerine, table grape, grapevine, olive trees, vegetables, strawberries and small fruits.

When should FIX be applied?

FIX should be applied during flowering, fruit set and fruit enlargement stages. The exact timing depends on the crop, but applications usually start from fruit set or from early fruit sizing.

What is the general dose of FIX?

The general foliar dose is 3–5‰ or 3–4.5 L/ha, depending on the crop and technical recommendation.

How many applications are recommended?

Most crops require 2–4 applications, spaced every 8–20 days depending on the crop, growth stage and production objective.
