MUMIC

MUMIC

Concentrated Liquid Humic Extract for Stronger Roots and More Efficient Crop Nutrition

MUMIC is a liquid humic extract formulated from vegetable matter. When applied to the soil, it promotes root growth and supports the activity of beneficial microorganisms in the rhizosphere. This biological and nutritional activity helps mobilize nutrients that may be present in the soil but remain unavailable for plant uptake.

Its foliar application improves the absorption and transport of nutrients and other physiologically active compounds within the plant. Thanks to its high solubility and total miscibility, MUMIC can be integrated easily into crop nutrition programmes from planting and early establishment through to the productive stages of the crop.

MUMIC is particularly suitable for programmes intended to improve germination, accelerate root establishment, optimise fertilizer efficiency and support higher crop performance under intensive or demanding growing conditions.

Origin and Certifications

MUMIC is manufactured from vegetable-origin raw materials and supplied as a completely soluble, microfiltered liquid formulation.

The supplied technical datasheet does not specify a particular organic-input certification or international certification scheme. Registration status, permitted uses and certification requirements may vary by country, so users should consult the local product label or contact Tangel Agro for market-specific documentation.

MUMIC delivers complementary benefits at both soil and plant level:

  • Stimulates germination and early crop establishment.
  • Promotes the formation of a larger and more active root system.
  • Encourages rhizosphere microorganism activity.
  • Helps mobilise nutrients retained in unavailable soil forms.
  • Improves the efficiency of applied fertilizers.
  • Enhances nutrient absorption through roots and leaves.
  • Supports the transport of nutrients and other compounds within the plant.
  • Promotes more vigorous and uniform crop development.
  • Contributes to higher yield potential.
  • Can be used throughout the crop cycle, from planting to harvest.

Improved Germination and Establishment

MUMIC supports the early physiological processes required for uniform germination and rapid establishment. Stronger initial development gives crops a better foundation for the rest of the growing cycle.

Increased Root Development

Its humic and fulvic components stimulate root activity, helping plants develop a wider and more efficient root system. Improved rooting increases the volume of soil explored by the crop and facilitates access to water and nutrients.

Greater Nutrient Availability

When applied to the soil, MUMIC helps release nutrients that are present but not readily assimilable. This improves the nutritional value of the root zone and complements conventional fertilization programmes.

More Efficient Fertilizer Uptake

MUMIC improves nutrient absorption and can increase the efficiency of fertilizers applied through irrigation, fertigation or conventional soil programmes.

Enhanced Crop Performance

By supporting germination, root growth, nutrient uptake and physiological activity, MUMIC helps crops maintain vigorous growth and express their productive potential.

Features and Properties

MUMIC is a concentrated liquid biostimulant based on humic and fulvic compounds obtained from vegetable matter. Its formulation contains 56% w/v total humic extract, 56% w/v fulvic acids, 2.75% w/v total nitrogen and 6.50% w/v potassium expressed as K₂O. With a density of 1.33, it provides a high concentration of active organic compounds in an easy-to-handle liquid format.

The product is completely soluble, microfiltered and fully miscible in water, which facilitates uniform dilution and reliable use through foliar spraying, irrigation and fertigation systems. Its dual-action formulation supports root development and nutrient availability in the soil while also improving nutrient absorption and transport when applied to the leaves.

MUMIC can be used throughout the crop cycle, from planting and early establishment to harvest. It is available in 1 L, 5 L, 10 L, 20 L and 1,000 L IBC formats. The container should be shaken well before opening and stored in its original packaging at temperatures between 0°C and 40°C. Under normal storage conditions, the product maintains its physical, chemical and biological properties for at least three years.

Recommended Crops and Timing of Application

Fruit Trees, Citrus and Pears

Begin applications from budding and continue until the middle of the crop cycle. This period includes important phases of root activity, vegetative development and fruit establishment, when efficient nutrient uptake is essential.

Vineyards

Apply from bud break to mid-cycle. MUMIC can be incorporated into the nutrition programme to support rooting, canopy development and nutrient efficiency during the main period of active growth.

Olive Trees

Applications may be distributed throughout the crop cycle according to irrigation availability, tree condition and production objectives.

Greenhouse and Open-Field Vegetables

Use throughout the growing cycle, beginning after planting or transplanting. Divide the seasonal rate into several applications to support establishment, continuous root activity and efficient nutrition during vegetative growth, flowering and fruit development.

Strawberries

Apply throughout the entire cycle, especially during establishment, active root development, flowering and periods of intensive fruit production.

Maize

Apply with the first irrigation to support early root expansion and improve the crop’s ability to access nutrients during establishment.

Cut Flowers and Ornamentals

Use throughout active growth. Regular applications can support root activity, nutrient absorption and uniform vegetative development.

Lawns

Divide the recommended annual rate into five or six applications during periods of active growth. Ensure even distribution across the treated surface.

FAQ

What is MUMIC?

MUMIC is a concentrated liquid biostimulant based on humic and fulvic compounds obtained from vegetable matter. It is designed to stimulate root development, improve nutrient availability and increase fertilizer uptake.

Is MUMIC a fertilizer or a biostimulant?

MUMIC is presented as a liquid fertilizer with a high concentration of humic extract and as a biostimulant for foliar and soil application. It contains humic extract, fulvic acids, nitrogen and potassium.

How does MUMIC work in the soil?

It stimulates root and microorganism activity in the rhizosphere and helps mobilise nutrients that may be present in forms that are difficult for plants to assimilate.

Can MUMIC be applied to the leaves?

Yes. MUMIC is suitable for foliar application. When applied to foliage, it supports the uptake and transport of nutrients and other compounds within the plant.

Can it be applied through fertigation?

Its completely soluble, microfiltered liquid formulation is suitable for soil application and can be incorporated into appropriate irrigation or fertigation programmes, subject to local label instructions and system compatibility.

What is the general application rate?

The general dilution indicated in the technical datasheet is 2–4 L per 200 L of water. Crop-specific recommendations should take priority whenever they are available.

When should MUMIC be applied?

It can be used from planting to harvest. The most appropriate timing depends on the crop. In many perennial crops, applications are recommended from budding to mid-cycle, while horticultural crops can receive divided treatments throughout the entire cycle.

Does MUMIC replace the normal fertilizer programme?

No. MUMIC is intended to complement crop nutrition by improving root activity, nutrient availability and fertilizer uptake. The base fertilization programme should still be adjusted according to soil, water and tissue analyses.

Is MUMIC suitable for organic farming?

MUMIC is of vegetable origin, but the supplied datasheet does not identify a specific organic-farming certification. Suitability for certified organic production must therefore be confirmed against the relevant national standard and current product documentation.

Can MUMIC be mixed with other agricultural inputs?

The product is described as completely soluble and totally miscible. Nevertheless, a jar test is recommended before combining it with unfamiliar fertilizers or crop-protection products. Avoid mixtures prohibited by the respective product labels.

Should the container be shaken before use?

Yes. Shake the MUMIC container thoroughly before opening to ensure the formulation is homogeneous.

How should MUMIC be stored?

Keep it in its original, tightly closed container and protect it from extreme temperatures. Do not store below 0°C or above 40°C. Under normal storage conditions, the datasheet indicates a shelf life of at least three years.
