SIL-CA Mg is formulated for nutrition programs where crops require structural reinforcement, improved mineral balance and better tolerance to stress conditions. Its combination of Silicon dioxide, Calcium oxide and Magnesium oxide helps strengthen epidermal tissues, support cell wall stability and improve the plant’s ability to maintain healthy vegetative growth under demanding agronomic conditions.
Regular applications of SIL-CA Mg help prevent and correct Calcium deficiencies, especially when they are aggravated by slight Magnesium and Boron deficiencies. The product is particularly useful for reducing disorders such as apical necrosis, fruit cracking and premature maturation, while also helping to avoid the loss of photosynthetic activity associated with Magnesium deficiency. Crops treated with SIL-CA Mg show improved vegetative development, stronger stems, better leaf architecture and greater productive potential.

Origin and Certifications
SIL-CA Mg delivers a triple nutritional and structural action through Silicon, Calcium and Magnesium. Silicon contributes to the formation of a physical barrier in epidermal tissues, Calcium supports cell wall strength and fruit quality, and Magnesium plays a key role in photosynthetic activity.
This combined action helps crops improve resistance to disease and pest pressure, reduce the incidence of lodging, increase light capture through more erect leaves, improve nutrient uptake and enhance tolerance to drought, heat, salinity and certain heavy metal toxicities.
SIL-CA Mg promotes Silicon deposition in epidermal tissues, creating a physical barrier that can make it more difficult for pathogens and insects to penetrate plant tissues. This effect supports integrated crop management programs and may help reduce the frequency of chemical applications when used as part of a complete strategy.
The product also improves plant structure by increasing mechanical stability. Stronger stems and more erect leaves allow better light interception, which directly supports photosynthetic efficiency. In addition, Silicon helps reduce transpiration rates, inhibits Sodium uptake under saline conditions and helps regulate the plant’s response to heavy metals such as Iron, Manganese, Cadmium, Aluminium and Zinc.

GENERAL DOSE: Apply SIL-CA Mg by foliar application at a general dose of 200–400 cc/100 L of water, depending on crop type, growth stage and nutritional objective. Use the lower dose for maintenance applications and the higher dose when the crop requires stronger Calcium, Magnesium and Silicon support, especially during active vegetative growth, fruit development, stress conditions or periods of high Calcium demand.

SIL-CA Mg is a Calcium and Magnesium Silicate Fertilizer for foliar and soil application, formulated with 27.00% w/v Silicon dioxide (SiO₂), 23.50% w/v Calcium oxide (CaO) and 8.25% w/v Magnesium oxide (MgO). With a density of 1.50 and a pH of 5–6, it provides a balanced source of Silicon, Calcium and Magnesium to reinforce plant tissues, improve crop structure and support healthier vegetative development.
Its main function is to strengthen cell walls, improve fruit quality and increase tolerance to abiotic stress. SIL-CA Mg is especially positioned for crops with high Calcium demand or sensitivity to cracking, apical necrosis, weak stems, reduced photosynthetic activity or stress conditions. It is available in 1 L, 5 L, 10 L, 20 L and 1000 L IBC formats and is imported from the EU.
SIL-CA Mg is recommended for horticultural crops, grapevine, kiwi, pome fruit, stone fruit, citrus, berries and potato. It is especially suitable for crops with high Calcium demand, crops sensitive to fruit cracking or apical necrosis, and crops exposed to heat, drought, salinity or structural weakness.
In fruit crops, it should be positioned from fruit set or newly formed fruit stages to support fruit firmness, quality and resistance to physiological disorders. In horticultural crops, applications are recommended shortly after transplanting and during active vegetative and reproductive development. In potato, applications from 30 days after emergence help support photosynthesis and canopy performance.
SIL-CA Mg is used as a source of Silicon, Calcium and Magnesium in crop nutrition programs. It helps strengthen plant tissues, prevent Calcium-related disorders and support photosynthetic activity.
Yes. Regular applications help prevent Calcium deficiency effects such as fruit cracking, apical necrosis and premature maturation.
Magnesium is essential for photosynthetic activity. SIL-CA Mg helps correct or prevent Magnesium-related deficiencies that can reduce crop vigor and productivity.
Yes. Silicon accumulates in epidermal tissues and contributes to a physical barrier that supports resistance against pests, diseases and environmental stress.
Yes. SIL-CA Mg is especially useful under drought, heat and salinity stress because Silicon deposition can help reduce transpiration and limit Sodium uptake.
Yes. SIL-CA Mg can be used by foliar application, with recommended rates generally ranging from 200 to 400 cc/100 L depending on the crop.
Timing depends on the crop. In horticultural crops, applications may start 15 days after transplanting; in fruit crops, from newly formed fruits; and in potato, around 30 days after emergence.
Store away from direct sunlight and keep between 5ºC and 35ºC. Keep out of reach of children and avoid contact with eyes, food or drinks.
